For a few weeks each year, our farmhouse is available for exclusive use, sleeping up to 12 guests. Enjoy swimming and tennis, and relaxed summer evenings around the fire pit with al fresco dining. Explore the  peaceful garden and countryside walks and meet our resident sheep and horses.

Our beautifully converted barn is available year-round, sleeping four guests in two bedrooms, with a two-night minimum stay or short-term let options available. Guests enjoy use of the swimming pool and tennis court (season dependent), with direct access to scenic footpaths and bridleways.(Available winter 2026)

    Well-behaved dogs are welcome at the property. Please note that the house is surrounded by a lake and fields which are home to abundant wildlife, which should not be disturbed. Dogs must be kept under constant supervision, and a full pet policy is available upon request.

    There are 6 bedrooms in the Farmhouse. 3 King sized bedrooms all with en-suites on the first floor and then there is a king sized bedroom, and a double bedroom with an adjoining twin bedroom, all on the second floor, all sharing a family bathroom.

    A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 6 weeks before the start of your stay. Payment to be made by bank transfer. 

    Yes, A £800 security deposit is required at the start of your stay. This will be fully refunded within 24 hours of departure, provided the property is left in good condition and no damages have occurred.

    The heated outdoor pool is open from mid-May to mid-September. Guests are responsible for ensuring the pool is covered when not in use to help maintain its temperature.

    Yes. For the Farmhouse it is a minimum of 3 nights. For the Barn, it is a minimum of 2 nights.

    Astwell Park Farm is home to horses, sheep, geese, and ducks.

    The sheep — Olive and Clover — are very friendly and enjoy attention. Feel free to give them a scratch!

    However please:

    • Respect the geese and ducks’ space - do not chase or attempt to pet them

    • do not enter the horse fields, feel free to pet them if they come to the fence

    • do not feed any animals

    • I will need to check and ride the horses each morning and evening, but I will be as unobtrusive as possible. I respect your privacy.

    • No smoking inside the property

    • No outside visitors or additional guests

    • No pets unless with prior approval

    • Please remove shoes whilst inside the house to protect the wooden floors and carpets

    • Some cupboards and rooms are locked as this is our family home — please respect these private areas

    • Please respect the neighbours and the rural setting with quiet time between 10pm and 8am.

    • The stable yard and barn are out of bounds
